The next step of being a follower of Christ, after regularly attending worship to show our love for the LORD, is to show our love for one another. Again, this can be done in many ways, but our focus here is to encourage everyone to become attached to a small group for care and growth as a Christian. We have many options available and encourage everyone to get attached to a group.
Sunday School - 9:45 AM
Our children's Sunday school class (ages 3-sixth grade) is centered on a Rotation model. Each week the children learn a particular Bible story through different media (movie, drama, craft, games, etc.). The same story is covered for three to four weeks in order to increase retention.
Classes are also available for youth and adults; topics vary each quarter. Please contact us for details.
Sermon-based - Tuesdays at 10:30 AM
The approach with such a small group is to cover the same topic that has been discussed on Sunday by reflecting on the message and looking at parallel passages in the Bible.
Books of the Bible
The approach with these groups is to work through various books of the Bible, one at a time.
These groups meet for a specified period of time, typically 6-12 weeks, throughout the year and serve as a great introduction to small groups if you've never experienced one before.
Bible Club is for children ages three through sixth grade. They meet on the second and fourth Thursday of each month for a time of Biblical instruction, music, crafts, games, snacks, and more. Special parties will be planned around the holidays.
Our youth fellowship is a time of friendship and spiritual growth for the teens and is open to youth in grades seven through twelve. They meet regularly on the first and third Sunday of each month at 7:00 PM at the parsonage with games, lessons, food, and fellowship. In addition to their regular meetings, the youth group will attend special events throughout the year. Teens are encouraged to make suggestions for activities.
Women of Faith
The Women of Faith Circle meets monthly on the second Monday of each month at 9:00AM, with members taking turns as hostesses and Bible lesson leaders. The work of the circle includes raising money for needy groups, providing funeral dinners, Women and Girls Dinner, Men and Boys Dinner and decorating the church at Christmas.
The Churchmen's Fellowship includes all of the men of the church and meets for special events throughout the year and breakfast Bible studies on the second Saturday of each month at 8:00 AM. The men cook the meal for the Women and Girls Dinner.
